PORCDATA. Digital platform to improve swine health

PORCDATA aims to design a collaborative platform capable of linking information from the Catalan swine sector in Girona using data managed by the Girona Swine Health Group.

The main idea is to collect data in the cloud and analyse it to generate knowledge that can lead to projects, studies, seminars and sector events.

Data to better understand swine health

The swine sector works with many factors that affect production and animal health. The platform seeks to organise scattered indicators and make them understandable for decision-making.

The project connects dimensions such as farm biosecurity, animal welfare, air quality, cleaning and disinfection of animal transport, and water quality with animal health.
